The jewelry is handmade in organic material. The leaves and seeds are plated with 18 carat gold without the use of molds and thus keep their beauty and airy look without being fragile.

The production of each piece of jewelry starts with the collection of the organic material. The material is dried and, if necessary skeletonized. Then the material is treated to obtain the necessary stiffness and finally hand painted with gold. The production method results in unique characteristics for every piece of jewelry because every leaf or seed has its own individual features.

The thorough production method fits will with the way we produce our clothes at Thi Thao Copenhagen. Every piece of jewelry has its own characteristics because every leaf is a little different.

LEAF NECKLACE – 18 CARAT FG
– PLEASE NOTE – THE LEAF JEWELRY IS MADE ON REAL LEAVES AND THUS EVERY PIECE OF JEWELRY IS UNIQUE.

This necklace is made on a base of leaves from a small strong tree known as Folha Moeda ‘leaf coin’, because the leaf resembles a large round coin. The tree has beautiful large yellow flowers, and it is an old tradition to collect both flowers and leaves from the tree, to dry them and use them for jewelry.

• Plated with 18 carat gold
• The natural materials and the handmade quality makes each piece of jewelry unique, and the size and design will vary slightly.
• No use of allergy causing materials such as e.g. nickel.
